You will set the strategy, lead the team, and also personally manage and optimise digital campaigns. You will be expected to <strong>do it all</strong>: build the vision, lead the people, and deliver hands-on results across paid media, organic growth, content, SEO, social, influencer programmes, and app marketing.</p><p>You will be directly accountable for scaling our brand globally, delivering measurable ROI, and positioning travSIM as the market leader in travel connectivity.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Strategic Leadership & Team Management</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and scale a multi-channel marketing strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and revenue.</li><li>Coordinate and mentor marketing team members across paid ads, content, influencer, SEO, and social media.</li><li>Oversee structured programmes (influencer, affiliate, content) and ensure delivery.</li><li>Advise on hiring, scaling, and resource allocation for growth.</li><li>Define KPIs, monitor results, and make data-driven decisions to maximise ROI.</li></ul><p><strong>Digital Advertising & Performance</strong></p><ul><li>Own and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, App).</li><li>Lead Meta, TikTok, and other social ad strategies to drive awareness and conversion.</li><li>Continuously test creatives, targeting, and copy to improve ROI.</li></ul><p><strong>Content, SEO & Brand</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and execute content strategies for awareness and conversion.</li><li>Oversee SEO: on-page optimisation, backlink building, guest posting, and PR.</li><li>Repurpose UGC for ads, product pages, and social media.</li><li>Manage content calendars and work with designers, writers, and freelancers.</li></ul><p><strong>Influencer, Affiliate & Community</strong></p><ul><li>Launch and scale influencer and affiliate marketing programmes.</li><li>Build partnerships with travel bloggers, YouTubers, and content creators.</li><li>Incentivise and manage UGC to grow loyalty and engagement.</li></ul><p><strong>App & Multi-Brand Growth</strong></p><ul><li>Lead marketing for app launches and digital products.</li><li>Manage marketing across multiple brands with consistent positioning.</li><li>Use AI and digital tools for insights, automation, and performance gains.</li></ul><p><strong>Analysis & Continuous Improvement</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor travel, tech, and marketing trends to inform strategy.</li><li>Conduct competitor benchmarking and measure campaign impact.</li><li>Adjust programmes based on ROI, data, and evolving business needs.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>South African citizen currently living in South Africa (non-negotiable).</li><li>Proven experience leading and executing across all areas of digital marketing.</li><li>Strong expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, SEO, influencer, affiliate, and content marketing.</li><li>Hands-on experience with app launches and multi-brand growth.</li><li>Data-driven, analytical mindset with ability to make strategic decisions.</li><li>Skilled in both team leadership and hands-on campaign management.</li><li>Passion for travel, technology, and building innovative marketing programmes.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p><ul><li>Own the <strong>entire marketing function</strong> at a fast-growing travel tech company.</li><li>Work on innovative products redefining connectivity for travellers.</li><li>Directly influence company growth trajectory with high-impact decisions.</li><li>Build and mentor a talented team while executing world-class campaigns.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you’re ready to <strong>lead, execute, and deliver results at every level of marketing</strong>, we’d love to hear from you.</p>
