<strong>Company Desription<br><br></strong>Telos Occupational Therapy <br><br> <strong>Role Description<br></strong> <br>This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Benoni. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions tailored to the unique needs of patients. They will work closely with physical rehabilitation clients (primarily geriatric, neuro, orthopaedic, cardiac, multi-morbidity, dementia. etc.) to develop and deliver personalized rehabilitation programs, focusing on improving patient functionality and quality of life. Documentation of patient progress and communication with interdisciplinary team members, families and caregivers are also key aspects of the role. The practice also provides services including FCEs, vocational rehabilitation and Driving assessments, providing opportunity for therapists to contribute to and grow and learn in these fields.<br><br> <strong>Qualifications<br></strong> <br><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy</li><li>Registration with the HPSCA</li><li>Expertise in Occupational Therapy rehabilitation, specifically adult rehabilitation</li><li>Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment</li><li>Prior experience in a clinical or physical rehabilitation setting is preferred.</li></ul>
