WSU has again exclusively retained Academic Partners to identify and assess for extraordinary and highly accomplished talent.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Executive Dean: Management and Public Administration Sciences (Ref: AP1152)</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>As the executive and accountable leader, </strong>you will be charged with continuing the upward trend of this faculty's quest to be a 'stand out' unit of superior academic excellence, built upon a foundation of commitment to social justice.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>You are a Professor or Associate Professor, </strong>or you meet the criteria to be appointed as a Professor or Associate Professor at Walter Sisulu University.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your doctorate is highly appropriate to the Faculty of Management and Public Administration Sciences, </strong>and this is complemented by your 10 years or more relevant experience in higher education. At least 5 years of this experience has been in a senior and strategic leadership position. Alternatively, your 8 plus years as a university Head of Department could also qualify you for consideration. Your research record is not only essential but is also exemplary and reflects innate aptitude in managing the research-innovation value chain.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your approach and rapport with students </strong>are outstanding and you are revered for your ability to design and deliver meaningful curriculum.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Given you are proficient in information and communication technology, </strong>you are probably part of a digital network of professional academics. More importantly, and where applicable, you are a registered member of a professional body.
