This individual will develop solutions that support both deterministic rules-based processing and judgment-based decisioning, applying AI where appropriate to improve speed, consistency, scalability, and business outcomes.</li><li>The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java 17+ and React/ Angular, and modern full stack engineering practices. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze business requirements, technical requirements, and system interactions across impacted applications, components, and subsystems.</li><li>Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support scalable full stack applications using Angular, Java, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.</li><li>Lead development efforts for assigned projects, including solution design, task assignment, code reviews, technical guidance, and delivery coordination.</li><li>Build responsive, maintainable front-end applications using React, Angular 16+, TypeScript, RxJS, component-based design, and modern UI development practices.</li><li>Develop secure and performant backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot or comparable Java frameworks, RESTful APIs, and enterprise service patterns.</li><li>Apply AI-assisted development practices to accelerate software delivery, including code generation, refactoring, unit test creation, documentation, debugging, and developer workflow optimization.</li><li>Evaluate and apply AI-driven engineering tools responsibly while ensuring security, compliance, maintainability, and code quality standards are met.</li><li>Partner with architecture, product owners, business analysts, QA, DevOps, and other technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.</li><li>Recommend new technologies, frameworks, tools, and methodologies to improve delivery, quality, automation, and maintainability.</li><li>Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, production support, and remediation of complex application issues.</li><li>Review system specifications, technical designs, code, test results, and implementation plans.</li><li>Ensure proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to reduce rework, production defects, and schedule slippage.</li><li>Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices, including clean code, automated testing, secure coding, CI/CD, observability, and documentation.</li><li>Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills: </strong></p><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Angular or React</li><li>Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.</li><li>Experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, or similar technologies.</li><li>Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design, and modern front-end architecture.</li><li>Experience with unit testing, integration testing, automated testing frameworks, and code quality tools.</li><li>Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and modern DevOps practices.</li><li>Strong understanding of secure coding practices, application performance, maintainability, and production support.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical work independently and provide direction to other developers.</li><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education: </strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.</li><li>Minimum of 7+ years of software development or engineering experience, including significant full stack application development experience.</li></ul>
