<strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>The Head of Marketing will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy across all business units. This individual will oversee brand positioning, customer acquisition, and revenue-driving initiatives across auctions, retail galleries, marketplace, services, and social commerce channels.<br><br>This role requires a blend of strategic vision, analytical rigor, and hands-on execution, with the ability to operate both at a high level and in the details of campaign development.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Strategic Leadership<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and execute a unified marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives across all business lines</li><li>Build and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI</li><li>Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure performance and optimize campaigns<br><br></li></ul><strong>Marketing Planning & Execution<br><br></strong><ul><li>Create and manage a comprehensive marketing calendar across auctions, retail, marketplace, and services</li><li>Develop tailored marketing plans for:</li><li>Auctions: Drive consignments and bidder participation across global sales</li><li>Retail Galleries: Increase foot traffic, purchases, and walk-in consignments</li><li>Stack’s Marketplace: Acquire and retain buyers and sellers</li><li>Services: Promote Vault, Collectibles Market Qualified (CMQ), and Coins in Motion</li><li>Apex Streams (Whatnot): Scale live social commerce presence and customer engagement<br><br></li></ul><strong>Channel Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Oversee execution across a diverse set of marketing channels:</li><li>Print advertising in trade publications</li><li>SEO and organic search growth</li><li>SEM and paid acquisition campaigns</li><li>AI-driven optimization and emerging marketing technologies</li><li>Digital marketing (email, social, display, affiliate)</li><li>Broadcast opportunities including radio and television<br><br></li></ul><strong>Team & Agency Leadership<br><br></strong><ul><li>Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team across disciplines</li><li>Manage external agencies and vendors (creative, media buying, PR, SEO, etc.)</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement<br><br></li></ul><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate closely with auction, gallery, marketplace, and operations teams to align marketing initiatives</li><li>Partner with numismatic specialists and business leaders to bring products and stories to market effectively</li><li>Collaborate with Gold.com affiliated companies to share best practices, leverage synergies, and optimize group-wide performance<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>10+ years of marketing leadership experience, ideally within collectibles, luxury goods, marketplaces, or e-commerce</li><li>Proven track record of driving revenue growth through multi-channel marketing strategies</li><li>Experience managing significant marketing budgets with strong analytical and ROI focus</li><li>Deep understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels</li><li>Experience with marketplace platforms and/or social commerce (e.g., Whatnot, eBay Live) preferred</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment<br><br></li></ul>Full-Time | $200,000 - $250,000 / Annually | On-site - Costa Mesa, CA<br><br><strong>Perks & Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Health, vision, dental, and life insurance</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Paid vacation & holidays</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Employee Assistance Program<br><br></li></ul><em>Equal Opportunity Employer.
