We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to add a custom Jobs section to an existing WordPress website. The site already has a traditional blog, and we would like job postings to be managed separately through a dedicated custom post type. Project Scope Custom Post Type Create a new "Jobs" custom post type that is independent from the existing blog. Custom Fields Implement custom fields for: Job Title Location Employment Type Department / Category Salary Range (optional) Application URL Application Email (optional) Closing Date Job Status (Open / Filled) Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is acceptable. Archive Page Create a Jobs archive page that displays all open positions. Example: /jobs Single Job Page Create a template for individual job postings. Example: /jobs/project-manager Each posting should include: Job details Job description Apply button/link Filtering Allow visitors to filter jobs by: Location Job Type Department / Category Open to recommendations on the best implementation approach. Requirements Strong WordPress development experience Experience creating custom post types and taxonomies Experience with ACF or equivalent solutions Ability to work within an existing WordPress theme Clean, maintainable implementation Please provide examples of similar work Deliverables Fully functioning Jobs section Custom post type registration Custom fields configured Archive page Single job template Filtering functionality Documentation on how administrators can create and manage job postings Estimated Effort We estimate approximately 10–15 hours of work, but welcome feedback if you believe the scope requires more or less effort.
