Job Description
Lionbridge is seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our global team as a Virtual Subtitles Creator. This is a 100% remote, contract position, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. If you have a passion for language, an excellent ear for dialogue, and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply – no prior experience in subtitling is required! We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in this role. As a Virtual Subtitles Creator, you will play a crucial role in making diverse audio and video content accessible to a wider audience. You will be responsible for accurately transcribing spoken words, identifying speakers, and ensuring that the subtitles are perfectly synchronized with the on-screen action and audio. Your work will contribute to high-quality content localization for our international clients.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe audio and video content from English into precise written text.
Create clear, concise, and grammatically correct subtitles.
Ensure synchronization of subtitles with on-screen dialogue and relevant sound effects.
Adhere strictly to project-specific style guides, guidelines, and deadlines.
Review and edit your own work to maintain the highest quality standards.
Utilize provided tools and platforms efficiently to deliver subtitle files.
Required Skills
