This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Kitengela, Kajiado County, Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
Review and proofread various types of content, including marketing materials, technical documents, websites, and more, for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation, and typographical errors.
Ensure adherence to specified style guides (e.g., APA, Chicago, client-specific guides) and linguistic conventions.
Verify factual accuracy and consistency within the text (e.g., dates, names, numbers, terminology) where applicable.
Check for proper formatting, layout, and visual presentation of documents.
Provide clear, constructive feedback and corrections using standard proofreading marks or digital annotation tools.
Collaborate with project managers and content creators to clarify ambiguities and resolve content-related issues.
Meet daily/weekly deadlines and maintain a high standard of quality in all tasks.
Participate in training and continuous learning initiatives to enhance proofreading skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
