If you have experience in Utility/Telecommunications and a passion for managing projects that make a real impact, we want you on our team!<br/><br/><strong>What You'll Do:</strong><br/><br/>As an <strong>OSP Project Manager</strong>, you'll take charge of projects in your designated area, ensuring they're completed safely, on time, and within budget. You'll be the driving force behind planning, execution, and success, tackling challenges head-on while leading your team to victory. Your responsibilities will include:<br/><ul><li>Manage telecommunications infrastructure projects from initial planning through construction completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.</li><li>Conduct project reviews and develop detailed execution plans, including engineering drawings, permitting requirements, construction activities, resource allocation, schedules, and cost estimates.</li><li>Maintain ownership of project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, revenue reporting, change orders, and invoicing.</li><li>Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating engineering, permitting, material procurement, construction crews, subcontractors, and customer deliverables.</li><li>Lead project status meetings and provide regular updates to customers, contractors, engineering teams, and executive leadership.</li><li>Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, permitting agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project approvals and compliance.</li><li>Review construction drawings, field reports, and project documentation to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.</li><li>Support business development efforts by preparing project estimates, participating in bid reviews, and assisting with proposal development.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, providing technical guidance and facilitating communication across all project phases.</li><li>Maintain accurate project records, schedules, trackers, and reporting tools to ensure visibility into project performance and milestones.</li><li>Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety standards, quality requirements, customer specifications, and applicable regulations.</li></ul><br/><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br/><ul><li>3+ years of project management experience in telecommunications, utility construction, fiber optic networks, or related infrastructure projects.</li><li>Strong understanding of outside plant (OSP) construction, permitting processes, utility coordination, and construction scheduling.</li><li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Project, and reporting tools.</li><li>Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Willingness to travel as needed to project sites and customer meetings.</li></ul><br/><strong>Additional Information:</strong><br/><ul><li>Primarily office-based position with periodic travel to project sites and customer locations.</li><li>Competitive salary based on experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Opportunity to work on large-scale telecommunications and fiber infrastructure projects.</li></ul><br/><strong>Why You'll Love Working Here:</strong><br/><ul><li><strong>Innovation & Growth</strong> - Be part of a forward-thinking company that values both people and innovative solutions.</li><li><strong>Career Development</strong> - We invest in your future with opportunities to advance and grow within the organization.</li><li><strong>Teamwork & Collaboration</strong> - Work in a supportive, intercompany environment that fosters success across engineering and communication infrastructure projects.</li><li><strong>Competitive Compensation</strong> - We offer a strong salary and benefits package that recognizes your expertise and contributions.</li></ul><br/><strong>Our Benefits:</strong><br/><br/>At Cannon Companies, we take care of our team.
