Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with business leaders and subject matter experts to drive execution of the Discover-defined Counterparty Remediation Plan (CRP) and deliverables.
  • Owns identification and documentation of artifacts related to the execution plan, as well as effective challenge of validity and quality of artifacts prior to acceptance.
  • Supports the Execution team with Complaints and Issue triage, reporting, and other execution and delivery related tasks.
  • Responsible for managing projects from inception to implementation.
  • Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs.
  • Gathers business requirements and translates them for project teams.
  • Manages all aspects of each project.
  • Assembles project teams and aligns roles and responsibilities for all project resources.
  • Ensures project progress is tracked and team members are providing progress updates.
  • Assists with business requirements analyses.
  • Manages project scopes, issues, and risks.
  • Ensures change controls are executed appropriately.
  • Estimates work efforts and manages resources.
  • Documents agendas, meeting minutes, action items, project plans, and issue logs.
  • Communicates project statuses to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Information Technology, Business Administration and Management, or related.
  • 4+ years of Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience.
  • In lieu of education, 6+ years of Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6+ years of Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Kanban methodologies.
  • PMP certification.
