<div><p>Job Classification:</p>Operations - Insurance Operations<p></p><p></p><p>The Team Lead, Short-Term Disability/Absence and Paid Leave Claims will deliver benefit experiences that help create and protect financial wellness, making a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers and our communities.</p><p></p><p><b>What you can expect:</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead the team to achieve customer service and claims management excellence.</p></li><li><p>Ensure accuracy of benefits paid on disability claims based on the deductible sources of income (offsets) and other contractual provisions outlined within the certificates.</p></li><li><p>Monitor, track and analyze reporting to ensure appropriate offset management of claims.</p></li><li><p>Develop effective action plans that result in improved team and individual performance.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain internal and external customer relationships.</p></li><li><p>Provide direct reports with ongoing support, appropriate training, positive/constructive feedback, coaching and recognition in an inclusive manner.</p></li><li><p>Drive employee engagement and continuous process improvement to remove barriers and enhance team effectiveness.</p></li><li><p>Provide for business continuity by identifying potential successors and emerging leaders for the key leadership positions on your teams.</p></li><li><p>Ensure team is in compliance with their obligations regarding risk identification, risk assessment and risk monitoring, control, and escalation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you9ll need:</b></p><ul><li><p>Minimum of three years in a Group Insurance Operations or claims experience required.</p></li><li><p>A proven understanding of STD/Absence/Paid Leave claim management processes and offset management required.</p></li><li><p>Strong critical thinking, mathematical, problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills required.</p></li><li><p>Detail oriented with solid interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p>Proven strong Customer Service skills.</p></li><li><p>Prior coaching, mentorship or leadership skills is a must.</p></li><li><p>Ability to problem solve independently.</p></li><li><p>Proven focus on continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>Ability to collaborate across business.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication (verbal and written) and time management skills required.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Teams, MS Word, and Excel.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>It9d be a plus if you had:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor9s Degree preferred.</p></li><li><p>Direct supervisory experience.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-MG1</p><p></p><p></p><strong><b>What we offer you:</b></strong><br/><br/><strong></strong><br/>Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $89,000.00 to $147,000.00.
