Chemical Sales Engineer

POSITION INFO:
Are you a technically minded sales professional with a background in chemical or process engineering ? We’re looking for a Chemical Sales Engineer with proven experience selling processing equipment and plant solutions into the mining and mineral processing industries .

This is a client-facing, project-driven role for someone who thrives on technical discussions , solution-based selling , and long-term relationship building in complex industrial environments.

⚗️ Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering , or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in chemical process equipment or solutions
• Proven track record selling into the mining or mineral processing industries
• Strong understanding of pumps, filtration, separation, dosing, or chemical treatment systems
• Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel regionally for client visits

🔧 Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining and processing sectors
• Work closely with Engineers, Plant Managers, and procurement teams to specify solutions
• Provide technical product presentations, proposals, and equipment sizing
• Prepare detailed tenders, quotations, and commercial proposals
• Manage customer accounts while ensuring after-sales technical support
• Collaborate with internal design and applications teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Maintain market intelligence and competitor awareness
