We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chemical Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing processes to optimize production and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of chemical processes, and a commitment to safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing chemical processes based on raw materials and final product requirements.
Conducting research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.
Analyzing process data and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including chemists, engineers, and technicians.
Troubleshooting issues with production processes and providing technical support.
Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
Optimizing process controls to improve product quality and consistency.
Developing and maintaining process documentation and operating instructions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in either Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering discipline from a reputed/recognized university.
Proven experience in chemical process design and development, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar project engineering capacity within an engineering and construction environment.
Previous experience of interfacing with engineering and construction contractors.
Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and fluid dynamics.
Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for chemical manufacturing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
