After-School & Weekend Caregiver for Teen Girl With Special Needs

We are a warm, supportive family in the Riverside (Broadview & Queen E.) area seeking a reliable, experienced caregiver for our 19-year-old daughter, who has autism and an intellectual disability. Schedule: • School days: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM • One weekend day: 3–4 hours (flexible timing) • Occasional extra hours: e.g., evenings or PD days, if available • Start date: Early January We’re looking for someone who: • Has real experience with adolescents or adults with autism or intellectual disabilities, specifically with behavioural support • Is calm, patient, and reliable • Likes swimming and can safely take our daughter to the pool • Drives and is comfortable driving our family car • Can work 3–6 PM on school days plus one weekend day, with some flexibility for PD days or occasional extra hours • Wants to build a steady, long-term relationship with a family About the Role Our daughter is loving, energetic, and thrives with routine, gentle structure, and engaging activities. After school, responsibilities include: • Providing safe, attentive care • Supporting her routines and skill-building • Driving to and from activities as needed • Taking her swimming regularly • Having fun together while ensuring safety Pay Competitive and commensurate with experience.
