We are currently seeking a Distribution Material Handler to join our team and contribute to the efficient flow of materials within our operation. This role is essential in maintaining our supply chain and production schedules by ensuring that materials and products are received, stored, picked, and distributed accurately and on time. The Distribution Material Handler will work primarily in the warehouse environment and will be involved in various physical activities including loading and unloading trailers, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, and preparing products for shipment. The position offers a competitive hourly base rate of $22.50 and operates primarily on a first shift schedule, from 6 am to 4 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Flexibility is required as starting times and hours may vary, particularly during holidays or to provide coverage for report-offs and production demands. Our Distribution Material Handler will play a vital role in supporting production by fulfilling requisitions, assembling customer orders, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while participating in continuous improvement initiatives such as the 5S methodology (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain) to enhance operational efficiency and workplace safety. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records using computer systems, document inventory counts, and support quality and safety standards across the warehouse. Candidates for this position should be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and possess good communication skills. Forklift certification is required and will be provided to qualified individuals who do not already hold it. Previous experience with warehouse management systems, such as Oracle-based WMS, and familiarity with forklift operation are preferred. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly is necessary, with weights reaching over 65 pounds and occasionally exceeding 100 pounds.   • High School diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
  • Ability to lift 65+ pounds regularly and occasionally over 100 pounds
  • Ability to work first shift hours from 6 am to 4 pm
  • Flexibility to work mandatory overtime if required
  • Good communication skills
